So, I started this blog last year, but never really kept up with it, so I decided to delete my old post and start from scratch. After all, Spring Semester 2011 at BYU-Idaho is starting in a little over a week, so it seems fitting to start the semester off with a blog so you all can follow the fun and drama of college life here in Rexburg.
So, to get started, I believe introductions are in order: My name is Jonathan Lundberg; I was born and raised in Southeast Louisiana. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (AKA 'The LDS Church'). When I was 19 years old, I served a 2-year proselyting mission for the Church in Southern France. I can honestly say that it was the best 2 years of my life! I wish so bad that I could go back. When I came back, I decided to enroll at BYU-Idaho (sister school to Brigham Young University).
At school, I'm majoring in Computer Information Technology and minoring in Military Science. The plan is, that when I graduate, I'll be commissioned in the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant in the Signal Corps. That's the plan, at least. I still have to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test at the beginning of the semester in order to be eligible to contract with the Army and start the whole process.
So, my girlfriend, Kylie, went home for Spring Break, so I've got a pretty boring week ahead of me. My roommate and I started a Lord of the Rings marathon after church today. We're on the Two Towers, disc 2. THEY'RE TAKING THE HOBBITS TO ISENGARD!!! Hahahaha, yeah they are! Theoden's people are making their way to Helm's Deep right now, and just got attacked by Goblins on wargs. Fun times...
Well, that's about all I have time for tonight...Once I decide what the general theme of this blog will be, I'll be able to include some more enjoyable posts...'Nite, kiddies!
